This glittering event, now in its sixth consecutive year, took place over the long weekend of June 30th to July 3rd<\/sup>. Over 70 vessels\u00a0 participated this year, watched by crowds of visitors.<\/p>\n

The Yacht Club of Greece once again gave us a spectacular weekend, featuring races for classic yachts and other traditional boats. It is easy to see why the Spetses Regatta<\/strong> is now the most popular race of its kind in Greece,\u00a0 and one of the most important in the Mediterranean.<\/p>\n

The Regatta<\/strong>, sponsored by the Municipality of Spetses, with the support of the Spetses Yachting Club and the Poseidonion Grand Hotel, was throughout the duration a true celebration of sailing.<\/p>\n

It is worth noting that for the first time the awards ceremony was held at the Museum of Bouboulina, in a gesture of respect towards Spetses’ illustrious nautical history.<\/p>\n
